There are 7 chakras
Actually a lot more but for beginners knowing the are 7 is a good start
They are not in the gross physical body. No CT, MRI, functional MRI, SPECT scan or surgeon has ever seen them.
Yet there are thousands of Internet pages on the chakra – discussing the body and chakra, personality and chakra and health and chakra.
It is upto you decide if you want to believe in them. I find them laughable.
If you want an accurate concept, I would suggest you have a few choices
- Read a reliable book on it. Like the treatise on Gita by yogananda . Maha yoga vigyana. Saundarya lahiri by Vishnutirrhji Maharaj.
- Find a Guru who can take you there and spend years and years learning to meditate
However reading those books will be an eye opener – of the inadequacy of our personal level of meditation. In general it takes decades and decades to experience the chakras as described by the enlightened beings. They describe a lotus or Kamal. But there is no lotus in the chakra. It is something to experience.
As usual, the blog has not given any accurate information to the reader hoping the reader will make correct efforts to experience it
