Rajasthan judge makes story of peacock famous

So a judge in Rajasthan made a statement that peacock impregnate peahen with his tears

This is a story in Hindu mythology

Is there truth to it ?

Peacock is the vehicle of kartikeya or skanda the son of shiv.  The name of the peacock is paravani

Some describe the battle of killing tarakasur is destruction of ego.  They also describe that the peacock kills snakes and say that snakes represent desires or bad tendencies

Thus Hinduism can twist meanings in a variety of ways.  Use snake as shakti and sometimes as bad tendencies.

Everyone gives their own intellectual turn and then spread the word on WhatsApp or social media to gain applauds.

I have seen many such twisted baseless meanings for Ramayana Mahabharata and other mythology out there

Very few people have been able to give the true interpretation. Yogananda did a beautiful job about Mahabharata.  In his initial introduction he describes who shantanu, ganga and satyawati are.  In the same place one can perhaps get a glimpse of peacock and his tears getting peahen pregnant

The scope of this interpretation is beyond human conjecture but requires a direct perception – as such these meanings are kept hidden. Enough revealed
