Is it true ?
Vivekananda advised a few not to believe in it. That is true. Some people Fall victim to it and will not even leave home without the right “mahurat” auspicious time That would be silly to follow it to that degree. So for the believers if it makes you weak mentally give it up
The best mahurat for Rama wedding was given by Vasistha himself and yet Sita and Ram had mostly – from a worldly standpoint – a difficult life and wedding. Can you imagine a Kings daughter asked to live in a Forrest by her king husband when she was pregnant ?
Yogananda believed in it. In his childhood he was given a protective amulet later in life he was chalkenged by an astrologer about something – the times were extremely unfavorable – but yogananda did it ( investing in stock market and making ten times the amount ) He then advised that it is possible but if times are unfavorable it is very difficult But he was a paramhansa. So what is the truth ? Can the planets influence a person ? Or is it just a strong indicator of probability ?
