You can’t just sit there and wait for success to fall into your lap; once your course is set and your will is firm, you have to make a practical effort. Then you will see that whatever you require for success starts coming to you. Everything will push you in the right direction. In your divinely surcharged will power is the answer to prayer. When you use that will, you open the way through which your prayers can be answered.

That maybe true. And that is what 99.99999% people have to do
But there are some extra ordinary saints if such a high caliber. They won’t lift a finger.
Or even have a second of thought or fear
Poor God. He panics ! I am not kidding. It is true !
About 200 years ago there was a saint in South Gujarat. The city of Junagadh. His name was Narsimh Mehta. At a young age, he was severely criticized by his bhabhi ( elder brothers wife ). He left home and wept hugging Mahadev shivling. A great saint came by and showed him the secret and quickly he became enlightened. And he refused to ever get away from the enlightened status
Now before this happened he was married. He has children. Now Narsimh Mehta never worked and god only knows how he fed his wife and kids
Well, it was time for his daughter to get married. As per tradition, the in laws have a long list of things the father of the bride should give for mameru Mameru or Mosalu – This is an event where the groom’s maternal uncle or Mama along with his maternal aunt’s husband or Mousa goes to the bride’s house and present her with gifts like traditional Paanetar Saree, Jewelry, Wedding Bangles or Chooda made from ivory, sweets and dry fruits in beautifully wrapped boxes. This custom takes place the day before the wedding.
Well in this list , which was quite long everyone had a list of gifts they walked Narsimh to provide for. The future mother in law was contemptuous of Narsimh. And said what can he give me. If he can provide a few stones I will be happy
The Time of the event. Like usual Narsimh Mehta was missing. He was out in the village, amongst a few low caste people singing about God.
This is when God panicked. He had to take human form and came as Sheth Shagalsha. A businessman. He walked around the village asking everyone where does Narsimh Mehta live. Finally, with much difficulty he found Narsimh house. He had a huge potlu ( a sort of back pack) With all the gift items. He said I have everything Narsimh ordered. And one by one he emptied it !
Now it came to the last item. Stones. He asked who wanted the stones? Well I did not want Narsimh to look bad. So instead of stones I brought gold nuggets
Then he bid good bye. Those who tried to follow him – he somehow disappeared
Narsimh was not aware of this. When he returned home they told him what happened. And he said oh God sorry I put you through so much trouble
This is true Bhakti.
For the rest of us we toil!
