Silence is maun
Everyone has a different opinion about it. But you can read the different types of maun in my previous blog
But let’s not go to the highest maun. It is difficult to even understand the highest. It is a state which is present everywhere and In so much self joy that they don’t want to leave it
For a lower level , right now we should focus on not having any thought or emotions. That is a bare minimum to learn.
This is something that Guru can teach. It is difficult to accomplish
Be silent Is not the same as be still. You can be intensely active and still be silent. Only a karma yogi can be there. This is achieved after perfection in samadhi
There are many many many deeper levels but how can you learn calculus when you can’t add 1 1 ?
