God gives what you think and ask for. That is his kindness.
Our fault lies in wrong thoughts and what we ask for
Is there a reporting bias with an increase in violence ? ( meaning increased incidence of crime reporting and a bias from population growth ) or has violence gone up ?
I believe it has gone up. Why ? We read and the news media reports crime crime and crime. These thoughts are on our mind and all God can do is fulfill our thoughts. Moreover it gives criminals more ideas for crime and ideas to be evasive
Once again the media is at fault. Also in the hearts of people they want to read about crime. Who wants to read of a poor family that fed an even poorer person ? Or a low level government worker that goes out of his way to help an illiterate old lady ?
Change your heart. Applaud those small things and bless them. Wish you could be that kind and loving and helping. In time even those wishes will be fulfilled and you will uplift yourself. If a hundred people do that a village gets uplifted. What is to stop a nation to becoming great if everyone does it ?
Instead what do we do ? We have hatred and anger – for things that do not go well. Hatred even toward government leaders and other things. I am not asking that you hug a snake but asking that you fill your heart with small acts of good things. Let that spread. In time the nation changes
The media can play a great role in this. Sadly they won’t. It is not their fault. The world is not ready for Satyuga. But soon it will change for a short time.
