A short story. Part 1

There was a shopping mall in a small town known as Vishvalaya.  There were shops of all kinds and you could get anything you liked

In the far north corner of the mall there was a small cave with a very unassuming appearance and a even smaller store.  Everyone knew about the store but no one visited it.

The store owner would periodically stand outside and hoping that he could have customers but no one ever came.

On rare occasions a customer would swing by.  He or she would be very heartily invited and treated well.  For whatever reason as the customer tried to go in the shop their phone would go off and they departed urgently to take care of family needs

The owner , always with a smile, complained to the council – all the other stores are flourishing while my store hardly ever has clients.  Something is wrong.  In fact the stores that have imitated my setup have customers by the millions but no one visits me.

The council said “Well sir, you know the rules!  The north store is only meant for the customers with a lot of moolah.  The local villagers are quite poor.  And whenever they get excess cash they go to the imitation stores”

Sir sighed.  I will wait outside till I get a customer.  He sighed again.  Till he turned blue.
