Like ullam, there are many other words that cannot be translated into English without losing the meaning
The reason is that the original words were in Sanskrit and was meant to describe an experience not a literal meaning
Words included in this are Pranidham ( surrender), prana ( does not mean breath) Asana ( similar to posture but not really ), ahamkara ( loosely ego ), antaskarana , etc
Even the words dharana, dhayana , samadhi have deeper meaning -many with a loose literal translation online and by Yogananda, Vivekananda etc but until your there you still don’t really get it
