Delicate karma

The moment you quarrel, you are not going God ward, you are going backward, towards the brutes.”
Swami Vivekananda

So let’s say someone does injustice to you. They steal your money. You know it. Now, do you fight the person – a sort of quarrel ? Take the person to court? Or do you look the other way.
This dilemma will only occur to those who want to make spiritual progress

If this debate does not occur to you, then your not that Keen in progress? Or your perfected? Or I did not present the case properly

Nevertheless, the proper attitude in this case should be introspection. Correct your flaws and do the right thing

Introspection First figure out why V your upset. Is it your ego and righteousness ? It is it your attachment to money that got you upset? Let’s say the person took a stapler from you would you be upset ? When you think your way through you will discover your attachment and sense of self righteousness. Notice those flaws. Ask god forgiveness for the same.

You may then discover in your mediation that you had wronged the person you stole in your past birth. Now what do you do? Silently bear the pain ?

Right karma The next step after you correct your flaws is to take proper action. You should not set a wrong example that stealing is permissible. In that case others will take advantage of you. So you take whatever proper legal action as dictated by law is done. Why ? Not with grudge. Not with anger. Moreover the money that was yours is yours to decide to give – you may never have needed or wanted that money. But since it is yours donate it.

As long as you do this without frustration out anguish or anger take the right legal course
Without grudges or anger – there is no quarrel. And yet you have done the right thing

Do you see how karma is decided not based on action but based on inner attitude ?

Be pure within!
