Once Paramhamsa Yogananda was discussing some matter with other disciples and Daya Mata passed by the group. Yogananda ji called her and said few harsh words to her, in front of everyone.
Daya Mata listened and then continued to do her work without any reaction.
After she was gone away, Yogananda ji turned to other devotees and said “Did you see how she behaves ! No matter how I treat her, she is always the same! You can all learn from her.”
Daya Mata never knew of Sri Yogananda ji’s comment until much later, when someone told her.

Daya Mata was a living personification of Love, Humility and service.
She was among many living miracles of Paramhamsa Yogananda.
