A repeat poem

Did not know I could write a good poem

I asked God

Should I
Worship thee in Samsar
Worship thee as sanyasi
All I heard was laughter
And a playful answer
“Give up”

Give up all that is mine
So be it
Wife and kids
Money and all
Inventory went on
All I heard was laughter
And a playful answer
“Not yours to give up
They are all mine
Cherish them
Love them
They are part of mine”

Samsar I loved
Wife kids and wealth
I looked up and all I heard
Roaring laughter
My foolish child
He said
” Nothing was yours
Nothing is yours
Keep or give
Whence was it yours”

Desperate I got
Confused I was
I – give up my Lord
Finally a smile
A wave of love
An ocean of peace
“You got it my child
Give up your I
Wayward you went
With the notion of I”

Part two

Did not finish it

Bhavin

Translation

Samsar – living in a material world
Sanyasi – someone who gave up the world
