We have any number of desire=
If one desire is satisfied
another one comes up.
Hence where is the chance
for our desires to be satisfied?
So go ahead. Listen to a great lecture.
Read all the books you like
Now come back and tell your mind, from now on you will not like tea or coffee or music anymore.
And you will no longer desire it
Let me know how that goes
Do you see why you need a Guru. Someone who can show you the true trick to get Out of the shackles of desires?
And a true Guru is not waiting for you. Nor will he accept you as a disciple that easy
