This started more than 7000 years ago. The great Guru who started it is still present
That’s what I have read. I can’t offer any proof
However it is a very powerful path and it demands total purity.
In recent times it was rekindled in the 13 century. I believe the name was Paramanand tirthji Maharaj. His disciple was Mukundtithji. Please don’t Quote me on exact names
From that era there were two other immortal saints in the lineage. They are still present
Lal Ded. And trailoki Baba. No one knows his real name
He is in charge of monitoring all shakti awakening
Fast forward – recent times one if the lineages are
Gangadhar tirthji, Narayan tirthji, Yogendra Vigyani, Vishnutirthji and Shivohum tirthji
They are very much present in the subtle world.
They have strict rules they follow.
Being kind and humble
Not allowing those who have not has awakening to meditate with those who have had diksha
Respect those disciples of other lineages more than their own disciples
And a few other things
They never desert their disciple no matter what.
Shivohum tirthji said he will watch every disciple even when he leaves the body
I had an interesting experience about this. He was true to his word
The body of these great saints are luminous in the subtle world Narayan tirthji looks incredible
I only write things I have read elsewhere. I can’t verify these things
Their Upanishad is Chandogya Upanishad Every disciple in that lineage should read it. Their shakti unfolding follows that path and the chapter Dahar vidya is very critical
Giri Samoradaya follows Prashnaupanushad
Until you are sufficiently stable do not criticize other paths. More than likely you are not at the level to unfold shakti in any path. Once you reach the highest then all paths unfolding is very clear.
Criticizing others is a tremendous blemish in spiritual progress
It is difficult. Those who can’t understand you are children. Lift them with love
Yet there are fools who inspite of getting Highest were not able to progress because they tried to fit the divine in their limited understanding
There is no hope for such ego
