Let me give you a phrase from Gita. One can find these Kind of phrases in other books too
To those thus ever attached to Me, and who worship
Me with love, I impart that discriminative wisdom
(buddhi yoga) by which they attain Me utterly.
Bhagavan Krishna—in the Bhagavad Gita
Here a god is saying , I will give you discriminative wisdom if you remain attached to me , worship me !
Wow! So if I don’t have that, you won’t give me salvation?
Now isn’t that wrong????
You can sugar coat all of it any way you like –
You could argue oh god is love or God knows what is best for you or he wants to make sure you are sincere about him etc
But the fact remains it is wrong
Truth Is – it is not wrong and there is no ego – but to understand why there is ego there is one simple secret you need to know !!
