The only enemy we had was our own personality. We held on to so many wrong things out of fear, vengeance, ego,and greed. How does a realized soul see others ? – With love and compassion. He does not compare nor does he think he is superior or more advanced. Those feelings of superior and advanced are for the ego.
In small steps, the divine Goddess releases us of those shackles. Those who she chooses not to liberate, will make spiritual progress but will remain in the shackles of ego, thinking themselves advanced and ahead of others. They compare their experiences and their knowledge.
