For spiritual progress one must be honest with oneself
Questions like these should occur constantly without self justification.
1. Why am I doing this?
2. Do I really seek god? Or do I look for complements from the world? Do I want to become wealthy using spiritual knowledge and powerful?
3. A often lame excuse is I want to help others. Yes a few people want to help others but not purely. Deep down there is a hidden agenda of money and fame. It is still ok though for helping a poor person get food or clothes is noble
4. What about helping others spiritually? Some people may benefit with the inferior quality of help out there. However true spiritual help – which everyone needs – is one on one. Never published or written. You can only get that with a true guru and they hide. They only help a disciple who is a 100 % committed to the love of God. Such a person is rare
6. Neeem Karoli Baba exposed himself as a divine person. So did Aurobindo and Ramana maharashi. Shivohum tirrhji Maharaj and Vishnutirthji Maharaj also. But their play was divine – not necessarily to help everyone who met them but to turn the masses to the idea that God exists. Don’t get buried up in science and technology

Often times people say it’s ok for them to get angry or upset – the other person criticized wrongly or was unfair or was evil. Your goal is to pray or meditate incessantly without thought of the world. Let the world be. Find someone who believes in these values
