Like I have said many times, people lead a meaningless existence. When I say meaningless I mean they chase happiness in the world. But when the claws of past karma catches up they scream
Slowly they come to realization that the world is full of anguish. Everything they thought would give happiness brings its share of pain. Like Vivekananda said happiness comes wearing the crown of pain with it!
Yet you want money. Fame. Fortune. Luxury! We want our pain to go away !
Let us assume God exists ! He must be quite foolish to have created this whole universe with trillions of trillions of trillions of worlds, stars, and distances that we cannot even comprehend And out of all he created an earth with 7 billion people now and trillions of insects, animals etc
What is the sense? Why? Are we destined to live a meaningless existence with a truly insignificant years of “living” ( compared to the origin of the universe)?
So like Gorakhnath and many other saints said, “one after another all forgot the reason for existence, but one person Matsyandra ka Chela ( himself) did not forget ”
So what was it he did not forget?
Like Mohangiri Maharaj said, you made a promise that you will figure it out but once you took birth you forgot your promise!
What is it?
The only goal is to find the “spirit” the ultimate secret. Is it the soul? The spirit refers to atman. It is the wonder of wonders! The joy of life! The joy in pain! But who wants it? No one.
Aah. But what about me – some lament? I know the Bible and read the scriptures. I can talk in sanskrit and debate anyone? Oh fool you have nothing. You have not tasted the nectar!
So go and put forth your theories of karma, and mediation and yoga and Buddhism. Convert a few unsuspecting souls to your ideology. The end result still will be you did not find the spirit?
How do I know I found it?
The moment you ask if I found the atman, it means you have not
The moment you are curious about reading a blog or scripture you don’t have it
The moment you want a disciple you don’t have it
I dare not say more – the great beings wish that children learn to crawl properly and stop thinking they are an astronaut!
