આંઠ વેંત નો હું જો ઘડ્યો
તે ક્યાં અળગો જઈ પડ્યો
એમ જોતા હરી મળ્યો
અખો એમ રહી પડ્યો..
The literal translation is as follows
I was created 8 handspan long
Where did I get separated
Seeing that, I met God
Akho, then stayed that way
My interpretation is as follows
The body is 8 handspan long. Just go ahead and use your handspan and you will find that your entire body is 8 handspan long.
In the second verse he hints and says, how did I get separated – from the original state of pure divine consciousness of God and get stuck with a body?
The third line is a deep secret. The body is 8 handspans long. The breath in the body goes in and out, maximum to that length. Seeing that, – he refers to Sohum kriya, where a sadhak observes the breath, and reaches enlightenment, he states he met God
Shivohum tirthji Maharaj described this in of the books as Antar vritti, Antar drashti.
The fourth line, Once he met God, he never separated from him.
