Hanuman Chalisa, Tulsidasji

A few days ago, Hanumanji and the Hanuman chalisa appeared and it has become “jagrat” or alive.  Then very shortly, Tulsidaji appeared and blessed me with his living presence.

This morning, once again I was blessed by Ganesh Bhagvan.

I believe, that since I am Gurudev and Kashinathdada’s child, God has is partial and blesses me repeatedly by granting me visions.  My meditation is extra ordinary (for me).  It is far better than I could have imagined or expected – considering the number of obstacles I have had to surpass.

Like I said in my previous blog, Gurudev would merely think of something and it would materialize in this world.  He has perhaps several thousand times (while he was in the physical body) granted his disciples with visions of God.  Merely by his thought.  Or his touch!  I can relate an experience my mother had with him.  Normally, Gurudev’s style was to touch a disciple and take him or her to Samadhi.  This time, my mother was sitting outside on her bed in the porch.  It was early AM.  She was attempting to do Pranayama. Gurudev was in the porch also.  He merely looked at her.  Immediately my mother could not breath in or out.  Lord Krishna appeared before her.  The vision was not long and no word was said by Gurudev during the entire process.  He merely looked at her!

Gurudev had told me, he was “nastik” in his younger life.  Like an idiot, I looked at Gurudev surprised.  He always knew every single thought that crossed my mind.  He said, “I believed in the Nirakar but in the Akar” – meaning he believed in God as the formless but he thought that God in form was more of a mental projection.  God gracefully corrected this concept of his.  Gurudev continued, “Ganesh Bhagwan appeared before Gurudev and stayed with Gurudev constantly for 6 months.  Day and Night.  In all of his activities.  Not even for a second did Ganesh leave.  Ganeshji did not say a word but merely smiled and Gurudev in return smiled back”

I have not heard of anyone in the recent times for whom Ganesh or any other God was in the physical form constantly for this long.  Gurudev, like Yogananda Maharaj never slept through out his life.  He did at least 3 long Anusthanas.  During those 3 anusthanas, all he drank was half a cup of milk.  Of course, he did not sleep.  He meditated constantly for those 6 months.  He would be in his room.  He would have someone lock the door from outside.  Not just lock it but seal it with wood.  His meditation was so intense, that like it is described in Gyaneshwari Gita, such great souls shed their skin, like a snake sheds his skin and their skin is replaced by a newer divine layer.  Anyone who had seen Gurudev during that time could attest to this greatness.

I describe these things, so everyone can realize who vast, how much more progress he or she needs to make in this path.

We talk about meditation, but who can meditate for this long? How can we expect to spend eternity with God, when our fickle mind will not even let us meditate for 24 hours?  A few minutes of meditation and our mind longs for this material world!  Wake up and give thyself to God completely and march valiantly towards God, giving up all desires, all hopes for anything in this world except for the love of God.
