Birthday of Sri Sri Rajarsi Janakananda
Speaking before a convocation of Self – Realization Fellowship students in 1953, Rajarsi said:
"All that I have to give to you is the spirit of Master and of God. I have nothing more to say nothing more to do except to carry out the wishes that Master had for this great movement. And what he is doing for you these days is not of me. I myself am only his ‘little one' that he spoke of; and I shall never be more than a little one because it will always be Master, Paramahansaji, who is my life and my blessing to you all."

These are great words of humility
In autobiography of a yogi , Babaji said the voices of those seeking God has reached him. It was Peter Lynn later known as Janakrishi
Babaji and other great saints will send someone – even if there are 3-5 people truly seeking
Sadly it seems the world does not have that many truly seeking. So unfortunate
People are in a rush to become a guru. In a rush to flatter themselves
So you may see some light. Or hear some divine sounds. And we flatter ourselves.
But stop back. Think. If it was the light of God, then it should come with something wonderful. Ask for something impossible. Test the light. Don’t be gullible to every light you see.
I would often test God. I don’t want To be a fool. I would ask the light for something impossible. Never ask for anything material. Ask for something to help others. Take their pain away. Secretly
So a disciple realizes very quickly my Guru could do anything and I can barely crawl.
It is then we realize how great Guru is
Yogananda called Janakrishi when he was around 1948 ?
“How much money do you have in your bank “
He said “a couple of million dollars”
Yogananda was silent. He then said why do you have so much money
Janakrishi said in case I need money when I am older
Yogananda said donate all your money to SRF. You must learn to live by faith that God will take care of you
Janakrishi did not hesitate for a second and gave up all the money
There were crooks then and there are crooks now. You owe it to yourself to find a true Guru.
I have said repeatedly, none of the visible living people fall in that category. But that is just my opinion.
